Applications
By means of the related parameters of the apparent resistivity and induced polarization, it is widely used in searching for groundwater to solve the water problem for man and animal, especially for the industry.
It is widely used for geologic prospecting like hydrogeology, engineering and environment. It also applies to engineering geologic prospecting using the method of high-density resistivity.
It can be applied to diverse prospecting from metal and non-metal mineral, energy prospecting to geothermal prospecting. It is also used in railway and bridge survey.
High-density resistivity prospecting
Features
Small volume and lightweight: the emitting and reception are combined in the same case. It is able to take apparent resistivity measurement and induced polarization measurement simultaneously.
Many measurable parameters: The instrument can directly measure and display the parameters such as primary field potential Vp, self-potential voltage (namely Vsp), supply current I, apparent resistivity Ro (namely Ps), apparent polarizabilityM1~7 (namely S1~7), half-life time TH, degree of damping (D) and deviation (R), and synthesis excited electron parameter Zp. Coordinating with the high-density switcher device above 60 channels, the method of high-density resistivity can be realized on it.
Convenient and flexible operation: Adopting automatic digital measuring, the instrument can automatically compensate for self-potential, drift and electrode polarization. With the large LCD screen, 9 patterns of poles distribution can be displayed. During the operation, the parameters are inputted through the key panel. After some point is measured, the curves of apparent resistivity Ro, apparent polarizability M and half-life time are displayed directly.
Convenient for data interpretation: the instrument can store the measured results up to 1200 points. Through the serial port RS-232, with the help of related software, the measured data is transmitted to the computer, and several methods can then be used for digital interpretation.
Beautiful and solid: the instrument adopts a large screen and a multi-layer touch panel with thin-film sealing. And self-protection of over-voltage and heavy current in power part make the instrument applicable for various field environments.
With the fault diagnosis program, it can real-time display the common faults.

The instrument has the function of preset and working period memory. When working, there are 9 kinds of common working methods to choose. In the instrument, the coefficients can be inputted according to the user’s need. And it has the same function of computer.
